Lois has been a paralegal since 1998. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Maryland University College where she obtained a degree in Legal Studies and has served as an office manager and trial assistant at our firm since January 2009.
Prior to joining Bill and Chris, she worked for the University of Maryland’s Lawyers at Bail Project, the House of Ruth Domestic Violence Clinic and a distinguished family law practice in Howard County, Maryland. More important than her educations and experience, though, Lois is an incredible, warm person who has developed extensive experience assisting and supporting clients and their families through their sometimes sensitive and/or difficult legal issues.
Lois is a proud mom to her son, Kerry (who is now on to his own academic and personal successes), and is an auntie to many. She strongly believes in giving back to her community and volunteers extensively with the American Legion Auxiliary, is an active member of the usher board and the women’s ministry at her church, and regularly attends bible study weekly. In her spare time, she loves to read and participate in the book club she founded.
